Grayson's Halloween Party

Three weeks ago when it was Halloween I so enjoyed joining both the boys for the school Halloween parties.  It is such a joy to see them with their friends and learning new things.  At the boys preschool the teachers assign two moms to host each party.  My friend Stephanie and another mom hosted Grayson's Halloween party which gave me plenty of time to spend one-on-one with Grayson having fun.

I hosted Brayden's the next day along with another mom.  I have pictures of Grayson's party, but was too busy "hosting" Brayden's to get any good pictures.  I'll redeem myself with pictures of Brayden's Thanksgiving party when I got to "just" be Brayden's mom.

Grayson "Mom, I made dhat." His teacher Trisha is in the back ground.  She is wonderful.

The class went trick or treating around the church and
Grayson stopped after one person gave him a piece of candy.  He was so excited.

Biased opinion, but he may be the cutest chef EVER!

Halloween Fun

We celebrated Halloween with dinner, tricks and treats at our house with my parents, Brandon, Ashley and little Matney.   The older boys loved it and are still devouring the leftover candy.  The younger two - Matney and Kennon - could have cared less, but it was fun for all of us to see them in their cute little cow and monkey costumes.

Grayson made a super cute little chef and wore the hat all night.  Brayden opted to be Wolverine.  He is really on a superhero kick

As we began our trick or treat trek we made it to the 2nd house and the sweet little cow leaned over her mama's arm and puked milk on the front side walk.  Pretty appropriate for a cow - very authentic.

Nanny B and Papa G have as much fun as the kids, I think. Getting a shot with everyone facing the camera is more than we could ever ask for.

Some of our very favorite neighbors were our first trick or treaters. Eleza was a little old lady and little Norah was a lady bug.

And, finally, the Crawford family Halloween photo.  Ashley as herself, Matney as sweet little cow and Brandon as his usual smug, non-smiling self.  I think he needs a hug.

Grayson's 1st Field Trip

In mid-October Grayson enjoyed his first field trip to a farm park with his 2 year old class. He played on the playground with his classmates and then explored the farm. The kids loved seeing the animals and enjoyed story time in the barn. I regret not getting a picture of Grayson with his teachers, Trisha and Amy, because he just adores them. It is such a joy to see Grayson learning and growing in such a fun way. He really enjoys life. The little girl he is Stella. She is the daughter of our friends Chip and Stephanie. We all go way back to the guys residency programs when we would get all dressed up and go to parties. Now we wear tennis shoes and hoodies and love escorting our kids on their field trips. My how life changes. I love it!
